Business Insider Japan , an economic news media operated by Mediagene Inc., a group company of TNL Mediagene (NASDAQ: TNMG), will officially launch a new video program, "Insider by Business Insider Japan Business Insider Japan (hereinafter referred to as "Insider"), on November 19, 2025. Produced under the leadership of Toru Nakamaru, who became video editor-in-chief in October 2025, the program delves into a wide range of topics, including business, economics, and international affairs, from a businessperson's perspective. Streaming will begin sequentially on the official YouTube channel.

■ Background to the launch of the video program

Since its launch in 2017, Business Insider Japan has been publishing news reporting on signs of change in companies and society, with the vision of "Better Capitalism - Creating an economy built around kindness." The site has grown to over 23 million page views per month (*), and its strengths lie in its multifaceted reporting rooted in social issues and its global reporting, leveraging its network with Business Insider editions around the world.

In recent years, with the diversification of information acquisition channels and the spread of generative AI, there has been a significant increase in the need to "understand the news through video." In addition, Gen Z and millennials have increasingly high expectations for "trustworthy video news" backed by solid reporting.

Against this backdrop, Business Insider Japan welcomed Toru Nakamaru as video editor-in-chief in October 2025 and is now fully strengthening its video communications efforts. Combining the reporting skills it has cultivated through text with the visually understandable way of communicating that is unique to video, we launched "Insider" as a program that responds to readers' and viewers' desire to "know more."
